John Ames

John Ames is a founding member and past Board Member of ERN. With 20 years of experience in real estate, John and his son have a great team in Southern Utah to help you in Buying and Selling. He has completed over 4,000 CMAs and has over 20 REO and Default Servicer accounts.

Before his real estate career, John (CPA) worked for eight years as a Firm Designated Auditor, IT and Operations Consultant with High-Tech, Bio-Tech, Manufacturing and Supply Chain / Distribution companies with KPMG Peat Marwick (Big Eight). He then spent nine years running Public (NASDAQ) WALLSTREET companies in CFO / COO SVP capacities. He has a Master’s in Accountancy, Bachelors Accounting, Dual minors in Business Management and Economics, and Associates in Finance and Marketing from Brigham Young University (BYU).

John has served nine years on the local IHC Hospital Board of Trustees. Lisa Ames is a Fallout Radiation Cancer survivor of over 12+ years, 6 separate cancers, and over 400+ rounds of Chemo. The Ames Family is The PRCA Pink Nite Rodeo Sponsor for 10+ years at the annual rodeo. John has served ten years on the Zillow Agent Advisory Board and currently maintains other business board positions.
