Christopher McCormick
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Chris started in the mortgage servicing industry in 1993 working in the microfilm vault at United Companies Lending Corp. Within a couple of months the REO department lured him away and as the saying goes, the rest is history! Over the last 30 years, Chris has managed all aspects of mortgage default servicing for some of the largest loan servicers in the country such as: Litton Loan Servicing, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and currently Shellpoint/Newrez. REO has always been what Chris is happiest doing, and in addition to working for servicers he has had the amazing opportunity to run a couple of great REO companies; First American REO and Tactical REO Servicing. Chris has always enjoyed meeting and speaking to industry colleagues, exchanging ideas and sharing knowledge to try and continuously improve our industry. Chris loves to hunt and fish, but since he does not get the opportunity to do either these days, he is more of a hunting and fishing equipment collector. He also enjoys collecting fountain pens and spending time with family.
