Mike Carroll grew up on Long Island, New York. He graduated from Slippery Rock State College in 1981 with a Degree in Environmental Science. He was hired by New York City as an Air Pollution Inspector for the Department Of Environmental Protection. While working for the city he had a car accident. At the time he was playing Rugby for Long Island Rugby. His injuries caused him to quit playing. Realizing he was not going to be able to continue his job he resigned and started selling real estate. He started out in a Century 21 office and worked until he left to join Re/Max in 1990. He married and started raising a family. In 1993 He purchased a Franchise and opened Re/Max Best. He has continued to build his brand to achieve being one of the top Re/Max offices in New York. He opened additional offices and is still working every day. He recently divorced and lives with 3 of his 4 children. This is another reason why he works every day.
